New terms learned this week:

Void ... no cards in a suit ... Add 3 (as you progress add 5)
Singleton ... 1 card in a suit Add 2 (as you progress add 3)
Doubleton ... 2 cards in a suit Add 1

Add shape points ONLY once a FIT has been found.

Opener:
12 - 15 ... Minimum opener
16 - 18 ... Invitational opener
19 plus ... Game going opener

Responder:
6 - 9 ... Minimum response
10 - 12 ... Invitational response
13 + ... Game going response
