TOKOROA AND PUTARURU DAZZLE ON DEBUT!

The combined team of Tokoroa and Putaruru romped home in first place at the Waikato Interclub Teams event in Hamilton today.

Eight teams from the region competed. In the junior section Ross and Susan Provan, using some of their new bidding techniques from the Nesting Pairs course combined with Sven Johannsen and Willy Ryder from Tokoroa to win the Junior section.
Pride of Putaruru
Gary Cuttriss and Dianne Vonk from Tokoroa joined forces with Putaruru's Anne Berben and Eileen Barker and together they won the Intermediate section.
Tremendous Tokoroa
In the Open section Michael Ware and Mary-Ellen Newton with teammates Vera Verhaegh and Sandy Davis came second in the Open field.
WE ARE TOKOROA!
Their combined effort meant they finished at the top of the field and now go on forward to the Waikato Bays Final in August to challenge for the Waikato Bays trophy.
