TOKOROA - PUTARURU COMBO RUNNERS UP AT NOVICE TOURNAMENT!

Three pairings from lessons this year took part in the Waikato Bays Novice tournament today, Sunday 18 October. Congratulations to Rodney Vercoe and Dexter Morgan who emerged runners up in their second outing as a partnership, having already braved it along to National Congress. Their 59.9% in the morning session secured them the Top of the Room slot. A steady 52.1 in the afternoon was enough to take out 2nd place in the tournament. Really well played guys! Allen and Helen Cant had a super afternoon finishing second in the room with 58.7. Helen Haigh and Mariu Lintonbon had a steady day, finishing mid-field with a nice 6th placed 53.4% in the afternoon session.
