Waikato Bays Intermediate Championship League 2018

The second round of the Intermediate League was hosted by Taupo.The picturesque venue, overlooking the golf course at Taupo, attracted 56 players.Our congratulations go to Ev Gardiner and Sharon Opal from Taupo who came first overall with 56.84% closely followed by Malcolm Kirkby and his partner. Congratulations to Lauren Lehndorf and Barbara Cook, also from Taupo, who were the top junior pair.After two rounds of the competition, there are no clear winners, with players from Cambridge, Te Aroha, Tauranga and Rotorua in leading positions. Eileen Barker and Brenda Buckeridge from Putaruru are well placed in twelfth position.It is not too late to enter for the third round at Katikati on May 20th and be amongst the prize winners!
