TOKOROA hosts the Waikato Area Pairs

WinnersA fabulous day was enjoyed by all the competitors in the fifth round of the WAPs held this weekend. The hospitality was great and the atmosphere friendly and relaxed, though the competition was keen. Tokoroa players did well, with Bob Side and Warren Wilton coming in sixth position and Graeme Farrow and Willy Ryder coming eighth, both partnerships having intermediate players. The winners for this round were Lesley Quilty and Hermanna Hemmes. Lesley and Sonia Crawford are now in first place overall. With one more round remaining, and several pairs in contention, the last round will be a challenge for everyone. Looking forward to seeing everyone at Morrinsville for the final battle.
